I am a Licensed Certified Social Worker (LCSW), and I specialize in the treatment of OCD. I have been working with all age groups of clients with an emphasis on Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, anxiety, and depression for over 20 years. I often work with clients who have not succeeded with other therapies.
I have training in a broad range of clinical interventions, and I use a variety of techniques depending on the needs of the client, some of which include: Exposure Response Prevention for OCD, EMDR for trauma, CBT for depression, behavioral modification, as well as brief solution focused therapies. I have worked in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
I am trained in the following: Level 2 Eye Movement Desensitization And Reprocessing (EMDR) for trauma and anxiety as well as phobias, Cognitive and Behavioral therapies, and have received training on Exposure and Response Prevention through the International OCD Foundation’s Behavioral Therapy Training Institute (BTTI).
I received my Master’s Degree in Social Work in 1996 from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. I previously worked on the Forensic Unit at the Arkansas State Hospital with an interdisciplinary team that evaluated capital offenders for competency to stand trail.
